An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the Pentland Digital Team. Pentland Brands is a privately owned, third generation family business, and the name behind some of the world’s best sports, outdoor and fashion brands, including Speedo, Canterbury, Mitre, Kickers and more.

In this global role you will use a blend of content creation, curation, UGC, to deliver relevant and meaningful content in all communications to consumers globally and supporting markets, across email, social and web. This will all in line with the overall content strategy that you will champion across the business.


You will maintain the content plan and communication calendars to support own channels, digital commerce, retailers, partners and markets in line with their plans, brand campaigns and PR.


Alongside this you will maintain a single view of all activation activities, ensuring appropriate blend of and amount of communications at any one time.


You will be responsible for delivering email activity. This will include creating concepts and defining requirements, working with the production team on design and copy, and being responsible for scheduling, maintaining databases and reporting.


You will support all post campaign analysis and data/insight reviews. You will use analytics and metrics on social channels, making recommendations and adopting an iterative process to improve effective use of social media by scheduling, maintaining, optimising and moderating channels.


This is a fixed term contract for a period of 6 months



                         What you need to have

  • Experience in using social media intelligence, moderation, paid media, planning and measuring/reporting tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in ‘on the ground’ and ‘in the moment’ social content creation
  • Good general knowledge of the wider digital ecosystem and the role social plays within a broader content strategy
  • Facebook, Twitter, Youtube & Instagram platform management
  • Web content management system (CMS) knowledge
  • Google analytic and SEO
  • Platform development
  • Email creation




  • Adobe photoshop and content creation skills
  • International digital marketing knowledge – including China and Germany.
  • Knowledge of SmartFocus and MailChimp
