Why not take a Splash and join our Product Development team and Speedo International Limited. In this exciting role you will:

  • Provide proactive/effective garment engineering utilizing advanced product and process knowledge to manage and execute the development of the competitive swim range.
  • Provide rigorous ‘end to end’ effective cost engineering and cost breakdown analysis.
  • You will complete and approve all product specifications and sealed samples OTIF to manufacturers to ensure key calendar milestones are achieved. 
  • Provide key milestones ‘hit rate’ statistics for monthly KPI reports and ensure all materials and products conform to SIL’s quality standards.
  • Work cross functionally with product team and design to meet style commercialisation and material development timeline. Update trackers and Development Product Managers/Sourcing Controllers on development progress.
  • You will have an awareness and knowledge of new potential suppliers/centres of excellence worldwide and source, implement and drive new technical developments through the product range.



                         What you need to have

  • Good computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and e-mail
  • Strong communication skills in order to liaise effectively with international suppliers
  • In depth knowledge of fitting garments and pattern amendments
  • In depth knowledge of the clothing manufacturing process including grading and sealing.
  • Requires high level of fit/pattern understanding to support competitive swimwear product execution
  • Keen interest in sport performance product to support the brand vision 
  • Hard working, a team player able to think outside the box.
