As Project Manager you will:


Provide project leadership to deliver business applications which support transformation & growth globally. Stakeholder management will be a key feature of your role, as is working in a matrix environment utilising resource both across IT and Pentland in general.



                         What you need to have

  • Experience managing business application projects including on and off-shore resources
  • Experience of vendor selection, from experience of workshop management, data migration and testing processes as part of an implementation
  • Experience of working in IT for a wholesale and/or Retail business
  • Experience of delivering projects that deliver commercial benefit to the business, balancing both value and cost
  • Ability to translate technical features into business benefits
  • Ability to influence and engage with a range of senior leaders across the business, securing and sustaining their sponsorship for the project
  • An understanding of the concept of Change Management and the ability to apply the principles to support project delivery
  • Domain experience related to SAP or similar ERP with functional experience of Supply chain, Customer operations or Finance
