Key Purpose of Job:


As part of the Connected Innovation team, reporting into the Connected Innovation Lead, you will explore and prototype how we can create and deliver new digital experiences across multiple platforms including web, mobile and wearables, turning ideas into tangible concepts that have the potential to delight and engage our consumers and customers.


You will be responsible for the creation and development of exciting new UI & UX concepts with your creative mix of coding and design.


You would need to liaise with the wider Connected Product&Services team to ensure the concept can be fully developed and engineered into a consumer facing solution through the Digital team.



  • Explore new ideas and generates digital concepts & prototypes to address unmet consumer needs.
  • Produce both physical and digital concepts, using a range of existing creation tools and original code where necessary.
  • Generate working prototypes to test, validation and improve connected concepts.
  • Maintain the integrity of the design intent through each development phase.
  • Demonstrate connected concepts to key stakeholders throughout the design and development process.
  • Explore new interface options beyond existing mobile and web UX/UI expertise in the Digital team.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies and tools that enable and drive connected innovation.
  • Understand what are the priorities for each brand and how these can be strengthened through connected innovation exploration.
  • Work collaboratively with the Concept Designers to create holistic concepts for connected innovation.
  • Work closely with the Digital UI/UX team to ensure that design concepts can be translated into live projects where applicable.


Needs to have

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar degree / equivalent experience Expertise in prototyping technologies from Arduino to HTML.
  • Experience in developing holistic consumer experiences combining both physical and digital concepts.
