Key Purpose of Job:


An excellent writer, you will switch between tone of voice create great compelling copy for our Active brands. Working closely with the brands and creative team, your work will include product descriptions, campaign content, copy for blogs, articles, emails and social.



  • Make relevant and engaging copy that inspires and connects with the brands audiences (swimmers, rugby players, fashionistas, hikers, etc.) and maintain high writing standards for all Brands.
  • Adept at developing different tone of voice, an understanding of the brands and an interest in the changing communication landscape.
  • Assists in defining the digital tone of voice and work closely with brand stakeholders, such as Marketing, SEO & Optimisation, Communication and Digital Experience teams to deliver engaging and commercially viable copy.
  • Develop multi-channel content to support campaigns, projects and ad hoc opportunities; all digital product descriptions, social and email content, articles and blogs across all marketing channels and sites as required.
  • Track record in the ability to work well with creative and digital teams and collaborate effectively.
  • Develop articles and blogs to maximise brand presence across all marketing channels
  • Operating to tight deadlines, working closely with project owners to ensure the content required for campaigns is delivered on time.
  • Experience in Active, Lifestyle and Footwear categories is beneficial but not essential.


Needs to have

  • Previous experience in writing content across multiple marketing channels.
  • Sound knowledge of SEO and how to adapt content to channel.
  • Experience in Active, Lifestyle and Footwear categories is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent copy-editing skills.
  • Track record in the ability to work well with creative and digital teams and collaborate effectively.
  • Self-motivated and ability to manage own time and deadlines.         
  • Passionate about delivering great writing that is commercially effective.

  • Approachable and friendly; easy to build strong personal relationships.
