The objective of this job as SAP Project Accountant:

Finance lead for Canterbury and Mitre/SAP implementation project, completing system testing and data cleansing, ensuring plans in place for smooth cutover and implementation.


Main Responsibilities:


SAP implementation project

  • Finance lead for the project, working with the existing business resources for Mitre and Canterbury to deliver project objectives, ensuring key decisions made and escalating issues where required.
  • Help define future processes and procedures for management accounts defined activities.
  • Assist Canterbury with data cleansing and mapping of legacy system to SAP
  • Undertake business testing and dry runs for Finance data and activities
  • Act as the Business Process Owner to complete the testing and training activities required for Finance
  • Support the cutover and controlled start up plan for both brands where required
  • Escalates issues to project manager.
  • Resource planning for go live, ensuring clear ownership of tasks and standardised month end outputs in place.
  • Support launch and post go live, ensuring delivery of month end and resolving any issues.





                         What you need to have

  • Good understanding of standard business processes for finance, in particular month end, fixed assets and intercompany.
  • Solid SAP experience.
  • Be able to troubleshoot and resolve errors.
  • Strong excel experience
  • Experience in delivering reporting solutions.
