The Global Demand Planner will be accountable for the consolidated forecasting and planning process for Lacoste Footwear. Creating and developing demand led planning processes to ensure that Lacoste can deliver the right products, in the right place at the right time, and respond appropriately to opportunities presented, whilst optimising supply chain and inventory costs.


Working as part of a multi-function, matrix team alongside the regional subsidiary supply chain, customer service and commercial teams to consolidate global demand.



  • Manage the relationship with divisional supply chain, customer service, commercial and sales & planning teams to create global demand plans for all product ranges
  • Work with commercial partners and subsidiaries to develop the demand planning process to create a single longer-term demand forecast
  • Manage the monthly demand and supply reviews, ensuring reports and escalation are communicated in a timely manner
  • Manage the communication of demand plans to the supply planning team
  • Work with Product and category teams to analyse and understand customer sell-out data, product performance, range and lifecycle planning
  • Critical role within the Pentland IBP process
  • Develop a forecasting process and system that allows the supply chain to maximise availability of product in line with our Go To Market strategy
  • Work with other supply chain functions to optimise our speed to market, replenishment models and inventory levels
  • Deliver a volume-based forecast that leads to a robust financial forecast
  • Challenge commercial and brand launch plans, based on data and insight


Needs to have

  • SAP experience is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of working with an ERP system for planning and control. Knowledge of SAP is advantageous
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets
  • Knowledge and experience of supply chain planning and management
  • Process improvement and lean thinking skill set desired
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience of International Customer Service with distributors
  • Experience in the footwear industry is desirable
  • Experience with Latin American markets is highly desirable
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese would be advantageous
  • Excellent written communication skills
