    Key Purpose of Job:


    To deliver a category-leading consumer experience across Pentland’s portfolio of ecommerce sites using digital product management methodologies and ways of working.




    • Together with the Digital Director and Head of Digital Trading and Customer Service, play a lead role in defining the group digital product strategy and roadmap
    • Own and drive product development strategy for two of our brands to be defined
    • Forge strong relationships with the brand teams and deliver on the brand vision in a digital context
    • Act as a relationship manager and single point of contact for customers
    • Manage a team of product managers working across our other active and footwear brands
    • As the owner of the relationship with the relevant brand teams, you are responsible for forging strong relationships with these teams and delivering on the brand vision in a digital context
    • Responsible for delivering a differentiated customer experience across our ecommerce sites and ensuring they are growing in line with brand plans and revenue targets
    • Developing the product roadmap and ensuring the digital experience is optimised through the customer journey
    • Creating business requirements, wireframes and produce prototypes etc.
    • Running workshops, conduct user testing and optimise the customer experience
    • Understanding and analysing product performance post launch
    • Performing competitor analysis and understanding the competitive landscape and how to stay ahead of the curve as regards product offerings, Web functionality, customer satisfaction etc
    • Taking full ownership over performance of your products – tracking results and ensuring products stay on target
    • Constantly striving to identify new opportunities and commercially justify your decisions
    • Act as relationship manager and single point of contact for key wholesale customers

    Needs to have


    • A minimum of five years in a product management role in an ecommerce environment. This could be in a pureplay, physical product or retail business.
    • Proven experience in online product management, working in a matrixed organisation, managing product prioritization, roadmap, and delivery of user-facing functionality
    • An uncompromising focus on user-centric design, applying intellect, data, research, and well-honed judgment to ensure you’re focused on making the biggest difference to our users with your work
    • Strong analytical and technical skills, with an ability to challenge and be challenged on a numerical basis to ensure your decisions are well founded
    • Experience running A/B and multivariate tests, using customer data to drive decision-making and being willing to question your assumptions on a regular basis
    • Have experience of managing B2C digital commerce products end to end within brand name organisations
    • Have the gravitas to influence at a senior level and able to make a real impact
    • Be an extremely commercially aware decision maker
    • Have excellent communication and numeracy skills
    • Extensive experience working in an agile environment and using different organisational models based on agile
