    Supports the design team by ensuring they have the tools and processes required to deliver and track design progress from design brief to vendor tech packs.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Manages the design administration to support delivery of seasonal needs across the division
    • Oversight of the design critical paths and support required to achieve it.
    • Administers and produces the seasonal range presentation material, working in conjunction with the Creative and Design leads as well as the Product Teams to effectively communicate the concept behind the line for internal and external audiences.
    • Sets up seasonal illustration libraries that manage colour and product illustration standards.
    • Co-ordinates with the graphics and art workers to deliver the seasonal range catalogue creation requirements.
    • Works with the design and License teams to schedule in development of seasonal product artwork for our global partners.
    • Maintains the seasonal server and responsible for archiving all works.
    • Provides day-to-day PC/Mac and artwork support to Design colleagues.

     

    Needs to have

    • Proven ability to work within a critical path and meet deadlines, managing their own time and others efficiently to achieve completion of deadlines.
    • Excellent presentation, interpersonal skills and understanding of the design process.
    • Thorough understanding and experience in design/branding/guidelines practise and implementation.
    • Proven track record of co-ordinating and delivering successful considered and desirable design.
    • Proficiency in Adobe creative Suit (CS6): Photoshop (or) Fireworks, Flash, Dreamweaver, InDesign and Illustrator. Mac literate with good Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Drive to build and maintain trustful relationships with peers across the business or multiple functions and within the product leadership team;  
    • Highly capable of influencing a team of designers and encouraging and nurturing young talent.
    • Ability to work with multiple functions with credibility and conviction in order to create support and belief across the organisation.

    • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and able to multi-task and motivate others.
    • A great listener, seeking to understand issues and keen to support in resolving them.
