    Key Purpose of Job


    Day to day management of direct reports, embedding improvements and ensuring  KPIs and SLAs are met.

    Be working for a fast-paced Customer Financial Services team managing collections and risk across a portfolio of brand accounts. Delivering exceptional customer service in a professional manner, in accordance with the Group Policy.  Assisting in the development of strategies for continuous improvement and effective risk management.



    • Ensure ledger KPIs and SLA are delivered
    • Ensure any issues are escalated to key stakeholders
    • Manage proactive cash collections across a portfolio of brands to achieve team goals and objectives, whilst ensuring company risk is kept to a minimum.
    • Build effective and collaborative relationships with both internal and external customers.
    • Have full responsibility for accounts and have complete knowledge of accounts to enable accurate decision making
    • Participate in the success of the brands stock turnover days through daily order releasing and order-book reviews.
    • Participate in review meetings with brand senior management as appropriate.
    • Proactively take responsibility for the escalation of developing issues and/or key risks
    • Ensure that any decisions taken follow the Credit Policy and DOA (Delegation of authority)
    • Investigate and resolve incoming queries within agreed SLA’s, with ability to influence and eliminate problems at source.
    • Proactively liaise with account sales managers to influence them in concluding issues and queries.
    • Provide a consistent level of high customer service.
    • Ability to motivate a team of credit controllers to drive success.
    • Continuously challenge the status quo, reviewing current procedures and processes and helping with the implementation of any changes.

    What we need to see in you

    • Significant previous collections experience
    • Previous SAP experience is desirable
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workload and work within deadlines
    • Ability to work with different stakeholders, and adapt your style accordingly to influence
    • Good written communication and organisational skills
    • Good telephone manner
    • Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
    • Basic accounting understanding
    • ICM qualification is desirable
    • Proven people management experience

    Success to be measured and tracked through monthly 121’s and half year PDR reviews for the Delivery of Departmental KPI’s / Divisional OGSM/ Relationship building with Key Stakeholder.
