    Responsible for the daily operations, trading and safekeeping of the store project in line with the company objectives & brand standards. You will ultimately be responsible for the store team, including their delivery of all tasks in relation to commercial and operational targets.


    • Manage the commercial performance of the store against company targets 
    • Drive clearance program for terminal stock, in line with merchandising standards and centre pricing guidelines 
    • Understand, interpret, communicate and implement company objectives within the store 
    • To display exceptional customer service standards 
    • Act as a brand role model for all team members in portraying excellent Speedo Ambassador standards 
    • Ensure all Health & Safety policies are complied with at all times 
    • Ensure the general operations around rotas, cashing up, processing deliveries, stock takes and financial processes are controlled and actioned by relevant team members 
    • Ensure the recruitment, training & development and individual performance  needs of the team has been correctly managed by the Assistant Manager 
    • Proactively  work with centralised functions to drive great stock, sales, people, customer, operational performance 
    • Minimise any risk to company assets including stock, shrinkage, finance and property by following and improving all processes. 
    • Lives the core brand values in every aspect of their role and actively encourages others to do the same






               What you need to have

    • Previous management experience in an Retail environment
    • Evidence of adapting and implementing merchandising guidelines with a fluid stock package  
    • Strong commercial capability
    • Experience identifying opportunities to improve existing working practices and presenting solutions
    • Evidence of strong coaching and training skills
    • Experience of P&L management
