    Key Purpose of Job:

    As part of the Pentland IT, System of Record, Solutions Delivery team. You will be responsible for coordinating all IT supply chain system administration and delivery across all brands globally. Leading a team of senior analysts and business analysts. Coordinating supply chain application support and project delivery. Responsible for being a custodian of best practices, customer coordination, stakeholder management, testing and support of various applications that directly impact the business.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide an excellent support to the business in the day-to-day running of the operational business systems across supply chain application.
    • Supervising the implementation of changes to the system, including those which have a multi-brand and global impact.
    • Ensuring a high quality service and platform through coordinated, robust and multi-brand / global testing, and documentation.
    • Involvement in the investigation and planning of training requirements for business users, and team members.
    • Ensuring procedures related to identification, changes, testing, documentation, approval and communication of any modification to the system are followed.
    • Developing a deep understanding of your domain and have responsibility for the solution delivery in the supply chain area.
    • Management of team resourcing across support, projects and business as usual ensuring an accurate reflection of the teams’ commitment and availability.
    • Development of team members, building capability within your team, and across the wider IT team, and managing their careers and developing their skills and experience.
    • Applications responsible for:
    1. SAP AFS, SD, MM,
    2. JDA, WMS & DMS

     

     

     What you need to have

    • Excellent technical knowledge of SAP SD and EDI integration, (AFS & S4 Fashion experience desired) 
    • Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels with exceptional communication and networking skills.
    • Ability to provide detailed resource planning for a global team across many projects and applications.
    • Experience of leading global teams including onshore and offshore resources and ensuring the team meets their deliverables.
    • Ability to build and grow the team member’s skills and capabilities and forward plan for future capability requirements.
    • Ability to work with Project managers and plan projects in line with task being defined and resource capability.
    • Experience of providing thought leadership to the team to design & deliver business solutions that cover current & future business needs.
    • Ensure that projects are aligned to business and IT strategies and do not duplicate functionality.
    • For strategic initiatives work with the business solutions team to provide consensus-based enterprise solutions that are scalable and adaptable to changing business needs.
    • A sound understanding of concept to consumer processes across supply chain, sourcing & shipping, warehousing & distribution and, a good technical knowledge of associated applications & solutions specific to the area of responsibility
    • Broad awareness of the business processes and priorities across Pentland.
    • Good awareness of system of records applications & solution delivery practises and initiatives within the industry.
    • Knowledge and understanding of third party integration and the various technologies that can be deployed.
    • Ability to own the relationship with the third parties including managing budget, costs and SLAs associated with the partners.
    • Experience of leading at least two full project life cycles with a focus on implementation of SAP with 3rd party integration.
