Building a family of brands, for the world to love, generation after generation

Pentland is the name behind some of the world’s best sports, outdoor and fashion brands.

We own Berghaus, Canterbury of New Zealand, Speedo, Boxfresh, Ellesse, KangaROOS, Mitre, Prostar and Red or Dead. We are also the global licensee for Karen Millen and Ted Baker footwear, the UK licensee for Kickers, and are shareholders in other companies such as Endura, Hunter, Butterfly Twists, Heidi Klein and Tracksmith.

We’re a third-generation, family-owned business – and we retain strong family values. We care about people, and that’s what drives our day-to-day work. Last year the Great Place to Work® Institute recognised Pentland Brands the 11th Best Workplace in the UK and the 16th Best Workplace in Europe. Our global headquarters is in the UK and we employ 2,000 people across 20 countries around the world.

We believe that doing business the right way, with respect for people and the environment, is essential for ensuring our long-term sustainability - generation after generation. The Pentland values are at the heart of what we do and how we interact with the world around us.

    Key Purpose of Job:
Work closely with all of Pentland Brands globally to deliver technology and business processes that enable the businesses to achieve their vision and strategies. The platforms which the Systems of Engagement (SoE) team are responsible for are those peripheral to our core SAP, PLM and WMS systems. You will delve into business processes, suggest continuous improvements and/or new initiatives that you will then design, build, test and deliver to the end-user. This is a multi-faceted role that has many opportunities to explore new applications whilst growing the core competency within SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris). The Senior Business Analyst will advise, lead and mentor project teams through the project life cycle to deliver high standard solutions that address technological improvement, business process improvements and change management in their functional area.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide an excellent support to the business in the day-to-day running of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and other platforms the team are responsible for.
    • Supervising the implementation of changes to the Hybris system, including those which have a multi-brand and global impact.
    • Ensuring a high-quality service and platform through coordinated, robust and multi-brand / global testing, and documentation.
    • Involvement in the investigation and planning of training requirements for business users, and team members.
    • Ensuring procedures related to identification, changes, testing, documentation, approval and communication of any modification to the system are followed.

    Key stakeholders:

    • Digital team
    • Vendors and partners who provide/support our applications (including onshore/offshore developers)
