Building a family of brands, for the world to love, generation after generation.
We are Pentland Brands, a global family business bringing some of the most loved active and footwear brands to millions of people around the world.
We own Speedo, Berghaus, Canterbury of New Zealand, Endura, Mitre, ellesse, Boxfresh, SeaVees, KangaROOS and Red or Dead. We’re the global licensee for Karen Millen footwear and Kickers in the UK. We also have a joint venture partnership for Lacoste footwear.
All our brands have their own unique identities and every one of them is powered by Pentland. We have more than 1,400 employees worldwide and we’re always on the lookout for talented, enthusiastic people to help shape our future.
We celebrate differences and give everyone the freedom to innovate and develop, be it through creative working environments or learning opportunities. Our brands are there in the moments that matter - being there for more people, in more of those moments, drives everything we do.
At Pentland, we’re guided by four principles, we use these to make sure we’re not only doing a great job, but we’re doing it in the right way:

Overview of the role and our Design Pool Team:
The Pentland Design Pool has been set up to recruit and develop exceptional talent from all design disciplines to help them learn and develop whilst working on our brands. From day one Creatives are mentored and trained in Pentland’s best practice and computer aided design so they are able to support any of our brands from the word go!
We are now very excited to have the opportunity to add a Junior Content Producer Apprentice to the team! Under the guidance of the Design Pool Manager, they will be working as part of a central design team to provide creative and commercial solutions to briefs set by our brands. Briefs will range across a whole spectrum of a design role within Pentland and will vary from research-based projects to designing a new footwear range or technical product.
As part of the Design Pool team the apprentice will gain a breath of experience working across our brands which might include product design, graphic design, moving image and photography and get the chance to attend launches, exhibitions, visiting stores or travel to carry out relevant research and share ideas with our brands teams.
At the end of the Apprenticeship programme the aim is for the apprentice to be offered a permanent role within a Pentland brand.
During the apprenticeship you’ll:
What you need to have
What we need to see in you
This overview gives you a feel for what you’ll be doing day to day but it’s not an A to Z.
