    • Coordinate with UK Product / Development / Packaging team on both seasonal and off-seasonal trims requests
    • Communicate the requests with suppliers based on Sourcing Strategies Matrix
    • Conduct due diligence on supplier selection, allocation and manage RFQ process
    • Manage material development from the brief to quality sign-off
    • Ensure all materials (Trims) meet with the agreed technical criteria
    • Support product development team on material testing and wearer testing procedures
    • Conduct risk assessment to identify potential issues on quality during development process, alert business and provide suggestions to resolve issue or offer alternative solutions
    • Manage supplier’s lab dips and 1st bulk approval as well as monitor color continuity performance
    • Partner with suppliers to manage capacity assessment and capacity booking for both sample and bulk orders
    • Keep track on suppliers’ bulk quality performance via Quality tracker tool
    • Ensure compliance of all materials with legal requirements, keep abreast of changing legislation
    • Conduct regular follow up meeting with suppliers
    • Visit key suppliers on regular basis to ensure smooth collaboration
    • Manage Material supplier performance scorecard
    • Maintain and udpate the Materials database and physical library
    • Stay abreast of new technologies and innovations and be able to provide input to support product design and concept
    • Partner with Corporate Responsibility team to increase supplier’s compliance level and to drive materials sustainable initiatives



     What you need to have

    • Degree in Clothing or Textile Technology or relevant experiences
    • Materials (Trims) knowledge– Life style and Functional products
    • Familiarity with Trims and Product development process
    • Knowledge on color management and quality testing standards and requirements
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel, other related software programs will be a plus
    • Good spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
