    The role: This is a strategic partner to the Exec and Exec-1 within the Brands and Regions and requires working with the Senior HRBP and other business partners to implement and review the people strategy in line with business plans and Group-wide HR strategy. Our plans will include leadership development, talent management, employee engagement, ER, diversity and inclusion initiatives, reward and recognition, and organisational design. This role is pivotal in leading our Brand and Regional plans that support the commercial performance of the Active portfolio.

     

    The role you’d play:

     

    You will be responsible for implementing the strategic people plan for the Brands and Regions that includes successful delivery of cyclical HR processes including talent, annual salary review and performance management. This will be deployed through your effective relationships across the Exec and Exec -1 leadership team where you are a trusted coach, advisor and partner who can embed the people plans into their business priorities. You will have a communication style that builds engagement and authenticity at all levels.

     

    You will partner with the Centre’s of Expertise to drive accountability in the Brand and Region people plans to provide the best HR solutions that fit the needs of your business. There will be ad hoc projects for you to demonstrate your ability to influence key stakeholders, design and implement a plan to deliver and bring a wide range of HR skills and experience to the fore.

     

     

                         The Must Haves

    • Strong HR partnering experience working in a commercial, fast-paced and complex matrix organisations with senior leaders.
    • Experience of delivering the people plan through strong project management and executional flair and by identifying initiatives required to deliver the outcomes
    • Ability to make commercially astute and timely decisions. A considered approach to managing issues, challenges and difficult conversations
    • Credibility with senior leaders, seen as an effective part of the leadership team
    • Strong HR analytical skills.
    • Employee Relations experience with the ability to apply this to a range of situations with a flexible, commercial and pragmatic approach.
    • Commercial acumen and pragmatic in your ability to implement business focussed people solutions
    • Behaviours that align to Pentland principles.
    • Excellent organisation, self and priority management skills.
    • Personal integrity and a commitment to ethical practice, equity and diversity.
